Hi I'm Albert

I was born I Washinton but grew up in Minnesota. l love sports and am studying political science. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of 11 kids. I love sports, growing up I played both football and basketball. I've spent exactly half my life living in the city and the other half on a farm so I know a little about both. I am currently serving a mission for my church in Norway.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a mormon family and was raised in the church but I wasn't really converted until my junior year of highschool. I came to a crossroads that made me do some self evaluation and decide whether or not I believed the Mormon church was something I believed in. As I studied the scriptures, prayed, and tried to practice the things that I had always been taught I began to see the blessings that came from the gospel and church of Jesus Christ. I have continued to try my best to study the doctrines of the church, pray, and read the scriptures and I continue to feel a confirmation that the things I am doing are in accordance with Gods will

How I live my faith

As a member I try to live my faith by acting as i know my savior would, by being a good example to those who may not know about mormonism. I attend church every week and am currently serving a 2 year mission for the church.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

The first step in finding out if mormonism is true is finding out what it is mormons actually believe. The church has missionaries with the specific responsibility of finding people who are interested in learning and then showing them the way that they can find out for themselves if the message that we have is true. I personally have gone through a process in finding out that the church was true. I have had a knowledge that God is there ever since the first couple times He answered my prayers. As I have learned and put into practice the teachings of the church and as I have prayed and asked for a confirmation of the truthfulness of the teachings I have felt the confirmation of the Holy Ghost and have seen the blessings that have come from me following those teachings. In the bible it says that by their fruit ye shall know them, I have tasted and tried the fruit that come from Joseph Smith and the "Mormon" church and I know it is true for myself. I also know that you can find that out as well through the same process of investigation and prayer. I would just invite you to try.... Show more Show less
