Hi I'm Richard

I grew up in a small town in Idaho and now I see the world as a Human Resources Director. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Family - I've been married to my beautiful bride for over 16 years. She has been my best friend since the beginning. The best part about being married is being together and knowing we can be together forever. We have been blessed with four fun kids that fill our lives with life activities. It's never a dull moment at our home. Each one of our children has their own spirit and personalities that brings a exciting blend to our family. They difinitely are children of our Heavenly Father. Work - I am a Human Resources Director for a large corporation. The company has been great to me and it has provided opportunities to live in different cities as our children are growing up. I oversee the human resources for a specific business unit in the company where I travel to meet employees from around the world. I love to meet an get to know people with different beliefs and cultures. Interests - Besides spending time with my family, I enjoy traveling to new places. I love to hike the beautiful world our Heavenly Father has created for us to enjoy. I love snow skiing, and I get excited to take my whole family together.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always loved the freedom of following the teachings of the church. I grew up in a family where both my parents' families were ranchers and farmers with a strong mormon heritage. It has always been a way of life for me. Even with the strong beliefs of my ancestors, it is still up to me to know the teachings of the church are true. I have read the Book of Mormon and have accepted the challenge to pray and know of the divinity of the Book of Mormon. It is scripture. I continue to live and love the gospel of Jesus Christ because of my family. I love my wife and children and want to be with them forever.

How I live my faith

Being Mormon is more than going to Sunday School. It is a way of life that is engrained in me as much as the strong farming work ethic that I've been taught growing up. I'm grateful for my parents teaching me such a wonderful legacy that I can be proud of and teach my children. In my travels with work, I meet a lot of people with different beliefs and it is always great to help clear misconceptions of mormons with them. I have always enjoyed working with the youth of the church. I have always been involved with the Boy Scouts of America because of the church's strong support of the program. I think young men should learn leadership and outdoor skills while in their youth to become the next leaders of our nation and world. It's the strong character building program in scouting and in the church that I look forward for my sons to be a part of growing up.
