Hi I'm Jorge

I grew up in Lima, Peru. I am an accountant in Orlando, Fl. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 4 wonderful kids and happily married to my wife, Tachi. I love sports such as soccer, basketball & tennis. I love traveling with my family and enjoying different cultures of the world. I also enjoy trying out new foods of every country we visit. I also love to dance and listen all kinds of good and uplifting music. I joined the Church of JesusChrist of LDS when I was 15 in Lima, Peru. I own an accountant firm in Orlando, FL and love helping my clients be successful in their businesses. It is also a privilige to work with the youth and help them with their challenges and trials.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because at an early age in my life I found out the importance of being part of the true Church of Jesus Christ. I decided to put Our Heavenly Father to the test by asking Him directly if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was His Church. I had an interesting experience on my conversion. I came home one Saturday night after a neighborhood party and listened to some music on my radio and fell asleep. My alarm clock was set at 7:00 am and music usually came, instead of one of those buzzing sounds alarm clocks make. It was to my surprize, that the music I heard was one of the Church Hymns I had listened to at Church previously. I had asked Heavenly Father to confirm in my heart if the Church was true and my prayer was answered through music.

How I live my faith

I live the gospel of Jesus Christ by serving the Youth of the Church. We have multiple outdoor activities, camp-outs and sport activities together with spiritual activities related to "Duty to God" a program created to help develop a Young Men's testimony and spiritual growth. I love visiting some families to help strengthen their testimonies and help with their temporal and spiritual needs. I go out and visit these families at least once a month and I do these visits with my younger son. I believe that service is the one tool we have to give back to others what God has given to us.
