Hi I'm Kenny

I lived most of my life in Ireland. loved traveling and experiencing different cultures as a young adult. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of two, I love playing football in the park for fun and fitness with anyone who'll play & following Manchester United from my armchair. Try to enjoy the great outdoors in the lovely Queensland climate as much as possible by going on hikes and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

When missionaries visited my home and told me about a book which claimed to be another testament of Jesus Christ and that within it contained a promise that by asking God if it was true He would let me know. This was the first time religion meant sense to me and that if there was a way to find truth it would be something like this. I felt I had nothing to loose and everything to gain so I put the book to the test. My first feelings were very strong emotions and not really sure what they meant. The two missionaries who were sharing the teachings of the church with me and answering my questions told me about the Holy Ghost, the spirit who was a member of the Godhead and his purpose was to testify of truth. These feelings of love, peace and enlightenment grew as I continued to learn and follow the principles, doctrines and standards the church taught. Today I testify they mean more to me each day as I live them the best I can.

How I live my faith

I attend church weekly, and enjoy the fellowship and friendship of the members I meet with. The highlight of my week is attending our temple and experiencing the wonderful spirit there, I find our temples are the most sacred places I've been on this earth. We also enjoy service projects together within the community and among our members. With regular fun and culture events it offers me a busy and balanced life.
