Hi I'm Melissa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 5 children, 4 living. I served a mission to Paris, France. I graduated from BYU with a degree in family history and I love doing genealogy research. I dabble in photography and calligraphy, but most of my free time goes toward reading and gardening.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS faith, but like any adult I've had to come to my own conclusions about the nature of God, the world around me, and my purpose in life. I've stayed Mormon, because I love this church and what it brings to my life. It has seen me through some very dark times. When my baby was stillborn, the uniquely LDS doctrine of the eternal nature of families helped heal some of my pain.

How I live my faith

In the church, I serve as the secretary in the Relief Society (the women's organization) and as a family history consultant. In my family, I do my best to raise well-rounded, loving, honest, happy children who know and love their Savior. In my marriage, I am completely faithful to my husband and try to always treat him with love and kindness, working with him to build a relationship that will last for all eternity. In my own heart, I try to conquer my faults and become a better servant of Christ.
