Hi I'm Aaron

I love sports, I like watching movies, listening to music, hanging out with my friends, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Aaron. I went to a vocational high school to learn the trade of Electrical. Then I got out of high school and decided I didn't want to do that anymore. I then went to Brigham Young University-Idaho to study Construction management. I love listening to music, watching and playing sports, and spending time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the blessing of growing up in the church. Both of my parents, who were previously Catholic, are converts. Growing up in the church I always used my parents testimony as a crutch. In my mid teens people were telling me to start preparing for my mission. Then I thought to myself that I am going to serve a mission and telling others about this I better know that it is true and gain a testimony for myself. I had to pray to know if the Joseph Smith truly restored the church of Jesus Christ and translated the Book of Mormon. I recieved an answer that I already knew the church was true all along. I was a sweet experience I will never forget.

How I live my faith

I live my faith according to the decisions I make. I always fall back on my relationship with my Heavenly Father and what decisions he would want one of his friends to make. At times when I forget that relationship Him and I have, it is at those times when I make the wrong choices. I share the message of Jesus Christ every day. My testimoney grows stronger as I share it with others.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

I know one of the best ways to get to know our Father in Heaven is to study more about Him in the scriptures, the testimonies of the living prophets, and through prayer. When we talk to someone more the more we get to know them. Just as we spend more time with our friends we get to know them more. It is the same with our Father in Heaven. We also need to serve Him by serving others to realize and better understand the love He has for His children. It is a great blessing to come to know our Heavenly Father better. Show more Show less
