Hi I'm Heather

I grew up as a Pastor's daughter of the Nazarene Church. I'm a Mother And Grandmother, work two jobs and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My Dad and maternal Grandpa were both Nazarene Ministers. I moved around alot throughout my childhood and was an active member of the Nazarene church until after high school. I became a mother at the early age of 18 and gave her up for adoption. Then 2 years later started a family with my first husband. I have 2 beautiful girls from my first marriage. During my divorce I met my current husband and his support helped me through my divorce. We married about 2 years after we met and we began our own family with 2 more children. My oldest 2 daughters now have babies of their own and I enjoy seeing them whenever I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Although faith in Christ was taught in my home, I always felt like something was missing. My current husband and the missionaries taught me there was more to life and that I am an important part of God's plan, that He loves me, that he wants me to be able to return to live with Him forever and has provided a way for me to do that. The Holy Ghost helped me to understand the things that have/are being taught to me.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday to renew my faith by participating in the lessons and talks. During the week, I pray to Heavenly Father and He guides me throughout the week. I try to listen to scriptures every day and listen to spiritual music to uplift me.
