Hi I'm Lainee

I'm a fun, loving, outgoing daughter of God who loves to bake, and cook, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 3 children. I love to be out doors and I love to serve others. I love to be around my family for they are the most important people in my life! I love camping, hiking, horseback ridding, dancing and spending time with my nieces and nephew, taking road trips and traveling. I love to have fun and be around people that are happy all the time. I love serving my Heavenly Father every opportunity I get. I love to cook and bake and spend time in the kitchen. I sing and dance and am very excited to share my talents with those I love. I am trilingual I speak Spanish and English and do American Sign Language.I served a mission and I absolutely loved it and wouldn't change it for the world I grew so much to love the people I served as well my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the principles as well as the standards that we live by, are things that just make perfect sense! Being able to share those standards and principles are something that I love to do. I am grateful for the family that I have and for their great examples that they are to me of faithful LDS people! I know that we have a living prophet today who leads and guides us and that he receives all of his inspiration from our Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he lives. I know that Families are forever, and that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real! I have seen it effect my life as well as the lives of others. I love the gospel and I love my Savior Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

I was raised LDS I have been a member my whole life so being in a home where religion is a big part of your life you can't really escape something that makes you happy all the time. I attend church each week and have helped with the young children as well as with young women. I also serve others the best to my ability. Service is a big opportunity in our religion because we believe that through service we are able to share our beliefs with others to help them grow closer to Jesus Christ! I have found so much joy and happiness as I have been able to draw closer to my Savior Jesus Christ by helping others and being able to really see what my Heavenly Father has in store for me.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Lainee
The Word of Wisdom is a health code and greatest blessing for us to live given to us by our Heavenly Father. He loves us so much that he wants us to keep the bodies that he gave us pure and healthy so that we can return to live with him someday. There are so many blessings that come from living the Word of Wisdom that as you follow his example he will bless you with those blessings that he has in store for you. One of the blessings that he has given us is the opportunity to run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint. That is why I live the Word of Wisdom so that I have the energy, health, and strength that I need to continue on in my journey and especially to keep my body pure and clean! Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Lainee
A testimony is the simple basic beliefs that you believe in. Its that witness from the Holy Ghost that you know that the church is true. A testimony is like a foundation that you are constantly building upon. I know that this is the true church and that we have a living prophet today who leads and guides us and that he receives all of his inspiration from our Heavenly Father. I testify that Jesus is the Christ and that he lives, and that Families are forever! I know and testify the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real, for I have seen it effect my life as well as the lives of others. I love the gospel and I love my Savior Jesus Christ!" This is what my testimony is and this is the foundation that I am able to build upon every day as I read and pray and share my testimony with those that I come in contact with. Show more Show less
