Hi I'm Brooke Ashley

I love- life, South Carolina, my family, my home in California and I love being a full time Mormon Missionary!

About Me

I love to do all sorts of things! I live in all catagories of life! Just don't place me under sports. The things I enjoy most in my life are; my family, the gospel of Jesus Christ, my relationship with God and Jesus Christ, prayer, and reading from The Book Of Mormon. These things are my world! Other things about me are; I've always enjoyed life and school, having friends with high standards (friends are A must), being able to be me. I love to color and to be around children, spend time with my family, to watch movies, going to amusement parks, nature walks are fun every once in awhile, I love to eat, I love to take pictures... of me and others, playing board and card games, singing and listening to the car radio, and etc...

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon, simply because I want to be. I was never forced to go to church when I was younger. I always chose to go on my own. I love learning about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and now I love teaching it to others. I am Mormon so that I can live my life the best way I know how and to follow Christ's teachings. I know when I was baptized by proper authority I became a member of Christ's church which is that gate that leads to the Kingdom of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith currently, by being a full time missionary for the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in the South Carolina Columbia Mission. As a missionary I am out every day bringing others unto Christ through the waters of baptism. I testify daily of Christ and His restored Gospel, that Jesus Christ lives and that we will too. Also that His gospel has been restored to the earth through a prophet by the name of Joseph Smith. God's Authority is here on the earth today, in His church, The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. I know that we can all return back to our Father's and Christ's presence after this life to live with them and as eternal families for all time and all eternity, if we follow after Christ into the waters of baptism.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Brooke Ashley
As a missionary, when we enter your home, we will never ask you to take our word on the things we teach or say. We will ask you to pray to our Father in Heaven so that you can know for yourself the things which we teach are true and by the Holy Ghost you will come to know the things in which we teach come from God. We will ask you to read from The Book Of Mormon, come to church and pray to know if these things are true. We will also invite you to be baptized by the proper authority of God so that you can return to our Father's presence after this life. We will then help and prepare you to enter the waters of baptism by teaching you restored truths from Christ's Gospel. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Brooke Ashley
I don't get this question too often as a missionary, but it is one thing I love to tell people; No one paid Jesus Christ to teach His Gospel, therefore we are not paid as servents of Him or as members of His church. It is a service that we do. Show more Show less
