Hi I'm Deborah

I'm a Wife, Mother, & Pre-School Teacher, & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Bristol, England, but I now live in Alberta Canada. I'm a wife, a mother to six great kids, a pre-school teacher, & a photographer. I love to sing, travel, & hang out with my family! I'm pretty laid back, and enjoy the great outdoors. I love to laugh, and try to see the glass half full!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon, but once I left home, I needed to figure out if being a Mormon was something I wanted to continue with in my life. Over the period of the last 40 years, so many things have happened to me that have shown me over and over again that God lives and loves me, and has blessed me with the truth of his restored gospel. I LOVE being a Mormon! It means a life filled with meaning. I know who I am, why I am here, and where I am going. Trials still come, and heartache happens, but its is because of my knowledge of God and who he is, and of Jesus Christ, that I have the strength to overcome trials and keep going, and have a positive and wonderful outlook on life. Knowing I can be with my family forever, and that life goes on after the grave is the greatest blessing!

How I live my faith

I attend church each Sunday, & I lead our church choir! Being a Mormon means a whole lot more than going to church each week though! It's who I am at heart. I try every day in all I do to be a Christian, and treat other as the Savior would. I try to be kind, honest, and true to who I know I am. I teach my children to treat others with respect, no matter who they are or what they believe. I try to keep the commandments & choose the right even when others are not looking and I am alone. I am no where near perfect, but every day I try my best to be my best.
