Hi I'm Suzanne

I'm a Missionary, I'm an Aunt, I am a Pharmacy Tech, I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 28 year old serving a Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. Before my mission I was working as a Pharmacy Tech. I love helping people in whatever situation that I am in. I love to sing, read, watch movies. I love to spend time with my family and strengthen my relationship with them. I am a very loyal person, once I become a true friend I am a friend for life!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ is true. I know that it has the same principles and doctrines that Jesus Christ taught is here in this Church, restored in it fullness. I have never had a "big" event or a moment where I felt that converted me to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the small things, the peace and happiness that comes from God that have witnessed to me that this is true!!

How I live my faith

I'm a Missionary that goes around and teaches all who want to learn more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. I live my faith by living the way that I know that I should, and by serving others and talking to everyone that I see.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Suzanne
The Church doesn't tell us how to vote. They do tell us that we should vote. We know that this country was founded so we could have this religous freedom and we are to support who we think that would be the best. Show more Show less

In whom should we have faith?

Suzanne
We should have faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. I see so many people I talk to as a missionary that put there faith in The Bible or The Creeds. I know it is important to have Faith in Jesus Christ himself. The Bible and The Book of Mormon help us learn about Jesus Christ so we can put our faith in him. With faith in Jesus Christ we can have the power that He has. We can have his power to do whatever he asks. Show more Show less

Suzanne
Each individual missionary funds there own way. They work hard and save so that they can take that time away from work, school and other everyday things. During the 18 to 24 months they saved so they can completly focus on bringing souls to christ through sharing about how Jesus Christ church is restored on the earth in these modern days. Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Suzanne
I think of it this way no one paid Jesus Christ to serve. Why should we be paid to serve? All of the teachers, clerks, youth leaders, and leaders(Bishops) of the different congregations of the church donate there time to serve in different roles in order to help the church run properly. We do this to express our love for the Lord and each other. When we serve we recieve greater blessings and are given the talent/skills that we need in order to serve in that capacity. What is the Book of Mormon?

Suzanne
On the cover of The Book of Mormon in tells you exactly what it is. It is another testiment of Jesus Christ. It testifies that Jesus is the Christ at that he really did suffer in the Garden of Gesthemne, crucified on the cross and that he is Resurected and loves us today. It was writen by prophets anciently during biblical times. It starts in 600 B.C. in Jerusalem was passed down from prophet to prophet till it ends in the Americas in 421 A.D. We read it along with the Bible to gain the fullness of Christs gospel. If you have The Book of Mormon I encourge you to look inside the front cover and read the introduction that tells you exactly what The Book Of Mormon is. Show more Show less

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Suzanne
Women don't hold the priesthood because they have a different responisbility then men do. Women have the sacred responisiblity to be mothers/nurtures. This responsiblity is as improtant as the men holding the priesthood. The priesthood does not put men above women. Men and Women are equal in life! Women in the Church have the Relief Society. It is our own organization that has Presidency and other board members. I have seen many Bishops call on the Relief Soceity president to help him in doing his duties! In that way women lead in the church! Show more Show less
