Hi I'm Abigail

I grew up in Fairfield, CT and now live in CO. I enjoy dancing, weaving and watching old movies. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Due to health restrictions I am unable to work, but I very happily keep myself busy with volunteer work and Church, spending time with family and friends. Everyone in my ward at Church has been has been a second family to me. They are here for me as I am there for them. God simply blesses my life in so many ways, He keeps me moving through the trials as well as the joys; The pains as well as the laughter. I know that He holds me in His loving arms and I am safe. Ever since I found the Book of Mormon in 2002, my Testimony of it's truth has been growing stronger everyday. For that, I am grateful

Why I am a Mormon

The only thing I knew about the Church is we listened to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir every Christmas when I was growing up. I had no idea they were attached to a church. I made a friend at my new job when I moved to Denver and she was Mormon. When she left that job, we exchanged phone numbers. A few years later I called her and we got together for lunch and she invited me to go to Church with her the next day, I accepted. Simply walking into that Church building, I felt the Spirit so strongly, I said two things to myself "I am home, and I want more of this". That was in the Spring of 2002. I was Baptized August, 4 2002, went to the Temple November, 15, 2003 and have not looked back.

How I live my faith

I start each morning with prayer, thanking Heavenly Father for a beautiful day and reading my scriptures, including the Book of Mormon. I also attend Church regularly each Sunday and visit teach a couple of sisters in my ward. Since 2003 I have doing volunteer work at a local Nursing Home twice a week.
