Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a mom, a wife, and a homemaker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I have 3 very beautiful girls, a very cute boy, an amazing husband, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. My life revolves around them, my extended family, my friends and my house. I love to sing, dance, do things with my kids, and have fun with my kids. I love scrapbooking, blogging, facebooking, and making dvds. I did go to college and graduated with a degree in Computer Networking. That was back in 2002, so it's obsolete now. I am grateful that I did go to college. I learned a lot about me and computers.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, which doesn't mean I didn't struggle with knowing that it was true or not. I had to find out for myself if it was true. I haven't had the easiest life. I've had some pretty tough trials. Through it all, I have felt the most peace, serenity, and joy in this church. There are times in my life I didn't live the religion like I should have and I did some rebellious things. Through my Heavenly Fathers love and patience with me; I found my way back to this church and found peace, serenity, and joy again. I know that no matter what your sins are, no matter what you may have done, you can be clean again through our Heavenly Father's love and through Jesus Christ's atonement. Jesus suffered for our griefs, pains, sorrow, sins, burdens, and more. Through this gospel and his atonement all things are possible. I have lost 2 brothers and a dad in death, also grandparents. I know without a doubt that I will see them again. That they are not gone forever. We will be reunited again. I know that there is just a thin veil separating us, and that they are near, helping me through this life. I love the knowledge that families are forever.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church as an Primary Worker. Currently I am teaching the 7-8 year old's in the primary. I love this calling. The spirit is the strongest with the children, especially when they sing and I enjoy being able to teach them, and they teach me so much also. They have great faith and knowledge. I do my visiting teaching. Which is to visit some sisters (women) in our area. We visit them once a month or more if needed to share with them a message from the gospel and to check on them to see if they need anything from us or the church. I sing in the ward choir. I love to sing and it is a great way to do that for free and the spirit is there when I do it also. There is nothing better than singing the hymns in sacrament meeting to the congregation. I go to church every week to partake of the sacrament and to have my spiritual cup refilled so I can make it another week. I learn more about this wonderful gospel and I get to be with many other wonderful people there trying to do live the same way I'm trying to live. No one in our church is perfect, that is why we go. We need this gospel to help make it possible to get to heaven and live with Heavenly Father again. This church is about the gospel, not the people.
