Hi I'm Lea Marie

I am a hairstylist and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always had a flare for the dramatics. From a every early age I took dance lessons and sang in choirs doing solo's and taking voice lessons. As I got older I started acting. After I went through my first year of college I realized there was more to life then the stage and that my true goals in life were to be a wife a friend and a mother. Now that I am those things, I have learned that my life is the biggest stage of all. My career as a hairstylist is the perfcet opportunity to meet new people and never have the same day twice. I feel very blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to live my life as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for many reasons. The strongest of which is that I know that my Savior loves me. I am surrounded with people that are concerned and have my best interests in mind. Sure we are a family and feelings can get hurt, but Heavenly Father always helps me heal. I know that Christ's true church was restored to the Earth through Joseph Smith Jr. and that I am a living breathing part of his effort. I am by no means perfect and neither are the people I attend church with but what we do have in common is that we are all trying to put one foot in front of the other and get a little closer to our Father in Heaven. Jesus is the Christ. He lives! We have a prophet on the earth today, Thomas S. Monson and he has a direct line to our maker. I know in my heart the Book of Mormon is the word of God. If you read it your heart and your mind will be filled with a feeling that cannot be produced by anything other then divinty. I don't just feel these things. I know them to be true. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I attend Church on Sunday with my husband and children. My husband is a Boy Scouts Of America Scout Master. This means he is at activities, many of which are in our home, every Wednsday night and a campout once a month. I lead music for the adult women of the "Relief Society" on Sundays. Both my husband and I do in home visits to members that are active at church and that do not attend regularley. Our family does our best to hold a family home evening were are imediate family gets together one night a week, normaly Monday, where we set aside the outside world and do something just as us. No distractions allowed. We strive to live our Faith daily.
