Hi I'm Sarah

I have lived in six different states in the United States. I love experiencing all four seasons. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have two children. We homeschool, and I stay quite busy keeping up with my children's education and activities. I like to garden in the summer, quilt and do other sewing projects in the winter, read all the time, and travel as much as possible. I also like biking, walking, and other sports.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both Mormon, so I have been going to an LDS church my entire life. Junior High was the first time I was faced with people directly challenging me about what I believed. I struggled with following my friends or following my faith. Eventually, through some trial and error, I knew I had a testimony of Jesus Christ, the truth of the Book of Mormon, and the restoration of the gospel through Joseph Smith. Since then, my testimony grows stronger every day as I work to increase my knowledge of the gospel, learn through challenges, serve others, and be grateful for my blessings.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the children at church. I organize the music time each Sunday for the kids 3-11 and help them prepare for program performed for the rest of the congregation once a year. I also organize activities twice a month for girls ages 8-11. Our family also hosts the National Night Out party for our neighborhood every August. It's a fun way for our family to contribute to the community, and get to know the people living around us.
