Hi I'm Tiffany

I'm from Colorado, I love the mountains, I'm a basketball player and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I believe simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. That being said, I find joy in the little things. A good book, blue skies, spring flowers, poetry, and country music. I love going to art galleries, plays, museums, etc., but I also love to hike, camp, fish, and just do anything outside. I love sports, especially basketball! I'm an English major studying to become an editor and possibly a writer. Currently I am serving a full time mission for the church and it's been the greatest experience of my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because it is only in Christ's true church that the authority is given to perform saving ordinances like baptism and eternal marriage, which allow us to be with our families forever. It is only by God's authority and power that we can be healed physically and spiritually. It is only in this church that one can truly see "the power of godliness manifest." In Christ's true church there is no ambiguity, there is no doubt or gray area. The road to heaven is mapped out clearly and simply. We learn how to rely on Christ and how to find fulfillment and happiness here on earth and in the life to come. We learn who we are, what our purpose is in life and where we go when we die. It gives us hope and courage in a life full of tribulation, knowing that the Savior is there to lift us in our trials and to carry us higher into the next. This church has taught me who Jesus Christ is, what He expects of me, and how to rely on Him. I have learned how to make the most out of this life, and I have learned to have hope when life seems hopeless. The gospel has penetrated light into the darkest corners of my heart, and I will be forever indebted to Christ and to His gospel for that.

How I live my faith

Right now I am living my faith by being a full time missionary for this current year and a half of my life in the Nebraska Omaha mission! As a missionary, I teach people how to find the same joy I have found through Christ. I teach people of their worth and of their potential, and I invite them to come unto Christ and learn what it is that He has to offer us. I help others learn how to be truly happy and to know what their worth is as a child of a loving Heavenly Father :)
