Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a college student, a sports fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just recently returned from serving my two year mission for the church in Colorado and I loved it! There is no greater feeling than serving my Savior and Heavenly Father's children. I will begin college this fall. I love to play and watch sports of any kind. I'm a Duke fan. I have the greatest family in the world. My dad is my hero and i never want to do anything to disappoint him. I'm still trying to figure out my plans for the future and what the Lord wants me to do but i know He has a plan and as long as I'm living a righteous life and doing all I can than everything will work out just fine.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the great blessing of being born into a family that had and lived the Gospel. My father is a convert and I'm so grateful that he met my mother and she had the courage to tell him her standards and expectations. Because of her he joined the church and they raised me and my siblings to be strong members of the church. I've always believed that the church was true but I gained a true knowledge that this gospel is absolutely true on my mission. I learned that Heavenly Father truly does love each and every one of His children no matter how bad they feel they have been. I greater learned that my Savior Jesus Christ loves me and truly did suffer for all my sins and also my pains. It was a great privilege to wear His name over my chest every day and to bear testimony at any given moment. I know that we have a prophet on the earth today and that the priesthood was restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and does bear witness of Jesus Christ. These things are why I am a Mormon. These truths are taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm so glad to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I have found in life so far that it is the little things that really matter. The small things like scripture study and daily prayer that seem so insignificant sometimes are what make all the difference! Every time I have ever begun to slack off on doing those things I can tell that I am not as happy or even as diligent in other aspects of life like studying for school or other matters. Doing the small acts allow me to greater feel of Heavenly Father's love for me and help me to progress and do the greater things and get through harsher trials and challenges.
