Hi I'm Cristobal

I was born in California but grew up in Utah. I have three brothers and two sisters, along with my parents. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My mom(14) and dad (16) came to the USA in search for a better future for themselves and their families. My mom is a convert who was baptized at around 10 yrs. old and my dad was converted at 15. They met at a mutual event in Escondido, California. Later, they were married in a temple and were sealed for life and eternity. My life has been blessed by the Gospel through going to church, reading the scriptures, and being around people who have a high standard. There were and will be many times in which i had to rely on the teaching of the Gospel. I served a mission in the San Fernando California area. It has blessed my so far and I hope it keeps on doing so. I am a Nintendo fan and love playing video games. Also, I play soccer but have injured my knee so I don't right now. Hanging with friends is amazing, especially when friends have high moral standards and help me with problems; including spiritual and emotional stuff.

Why I am a Mormon

I am glad I know what the Gospel of Jesus Christ can do and has done in my life. That's why I wanted to serve a mission. Of course I have problems but that's life. It is how I overcome those problems that makes me stronger and closer to God. I want to be closer to God. Eternal life is what I seek, but nobody said being a true follower of Christ would be easy. But it is worth it! There have been times in which I did not know what to do, and if I did, I did not want to do it. Why? Because for teens and young adults, sometimes the World looks better. However, if I kept my perspective fixed at "God's Greatest Gift", the choices would seem simpler. I love God and Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost has helped me identify when I am following Them, what I can do to follow Them, and how I can do it. I am Mormon not only because the Teachings can liberates me from the captivity of sin, but because it gives me confidence in myself and what I am doing.

How I live my faith

Once I heard someone say, "I don't like it when people come up to me and tell me that my talk was amazing." The reason he said that is that he doesn't want them to just like it there but to ponder about it. To pray about it. To search meaning they can take in for their personal lives. That's what i often do. Yeah, there are moments which I just like it and keep going on with my life. But I'm trying to change that. I want to be proactive and want to apply the things I learn. I'm not perfect, but I am trying to be...
