Hi I'm Bryce

I'm from California. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently going to college and am having a great time looking for what my future career will be. I enjoy learning a lot and am very grateful for all the opportunities the Lord has blessed me with. Besides school, I enjoy playing sports. Baseball is my favorite. I also enjoy meeting new people and engaging in interesting discussions.

Why I am a Mormon

There is nothing in this world that has really been able to fulfill me and provide that peace and comfort that I've looked for. Only Jesus Christ has been and will continue to be the only thing that can anchor my life. I've been a member of this church all my life and have had some very deep and damaging personal struggles I've had to work at. I can remember looking for solutions to my problems in places other than the Gospel and the Savior. Nothing seemed to work. Nothing provided that healing that I was looking for. It wasn't until I really got serious about repenting, learning about Jesus Christ, and trying to follow Him did I start to feel that peace that I had been looking for. I really have found what I had been looking for for so long in Jesus Christ. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Well, I do what I can and what is asked of me. I try to serve my peers, be understanding, and try to be a good friend. I teach others about the Savior and share my experiences that I've had with Jesus Christ when the opportunity presents itself because its something special to me that I believe others can benefit from. I try to be like the Savior and know that it will be a life long process that I will always have to work at. But I'm grateful that I even have the opportunity to know of Christ and His teachings.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We do not worship Joseph Smith in any way, fashion, or form. I have a great amount of respect for him, just as I do for many other people who were able to accomplish great things. But I do not worship him. We worship God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. We have faith only in them, and believe that only in and through our great Mediator, Jesus Christ, can we be saved. What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement of Jesus Christ in the center piece to the great Plan of Happiness. It is what gives purpose and meaning to every other aspect of our lives. Specifically, the Atonement of Jesus Christ refers to the moment when the Savior suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the Cross. He suffered and paid the price for all of our sins, no matter how big or small they are. Furthermore, He felt our pains, tribulations, and sufferings so that He might be able to understand us and comfort us in times of need. I am so grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that it is real. I know that it has real power to provide real healing and peace that we all look for in this life. I know that it can take away our guilt for the wrong things that we have done, and I know that it can allow anyone to change. I have felt its power in my life, it has helped me change, and continues to do so. It is the single greatest event in the history of mankind. Without the Atonement of Jesus Christ, all of us would be be forever separated from God, forever dwelling in our sins unable to repent and change. What a marvelous gift the Savior has given to us all! Show more Show less
