Hi I'm Rebekah

I grew up in Southern California. I'm a Mother of 4. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mother of 4 wonderful children. I've been married to a great guy for almost 14 years now. I have a passion for striving to improve myself. This is sometimes a struggle as I try to have patience with myself. I throughly enjoy reading, organizing, gardening, learning about nutrition and learning all and any new cooking techniques. I love, love, love to travel and see all the different beautiful places on this Earth. I'm a Foodie and love trying all different types of cultural foods. I am aspiring to learn more about technology (which I don't have a knack for), specifically the computer. I'm also going back to school to get my degree in nutrition. I enjoy being surrounded by friends and family and making memories to last a lifetime.

Why I am a Mormon

I came from a home broken by divorce as many of us may experience. The faith and testimony of my Mother kept me going to church through my youth and helped me to be in the right places at the right times so that I was able to experience the peace and comfort of the Holy Ghost. Through out my youth I have experienced the help and guidance of my Heavenly Father and my Savior too many times to deny it. There were times when I felt alone or had doubt but never could I deny my Father in Heaven. I have always realized after those times of trouble that it was I who distanced myself from my Savior, not Him from me. I'm a Mormon today and always will be because I have been converted by the Spirit. I KNOW it is truth. It brings such great joy to my life to be part of my Savior church here on Earth. I'm so thankful for the knowledge that I have and I want to share it with everyone. I know my testimony is the greatest gift I could ever give to anyone. I am thankful for my joy.

How I live my faith

I have to opportunity to live my Faith everyday through the little and big choices that I make. I serve my children each day and try my best to do it in love and treat and teach them as the Savior would. I try my best to support my husband and serve him in love. I work with the young women at church, every Tuesday and Sunday. I have grown to love them and keep them in my prayers and thoughts frequently. I enjoy visiting sisters in my ward and getting to know them and their families. I'm working through my shy nature and trying to reach out to neighbors and get to know them better.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

You will know it is true if you pray seriously for an answer and then listen to your heart. Really think about what you feel and how the knowledge of the gospel makes you feel. We all have the gift of spirit to help us discern things in this life to be wrong or right. Don't over think it, just listen and follow the feelings that you are given. Thats how you know. Thats your personal revelation and conversion. Show more Show less
