Hi I'm Michael Darren

I’m a Entrepreneur, a volunteer, a family man, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a California boy, a small business owner, an artist, and an entrepreneur. I think outside the box. I do not need to be told what to do or how to do it. I love to serve in the community and volunteer in many capacities. I enjoy sporting events, the outdoors, and high adventure. I am an avid reader and believe that education should be life-long. I have a wonderful best friend in my wife and together we work to create a home of love and learning where safety and the spirit of the Lord may dwell. I love my wife and family with all my heart. I enjoy preparing for the future while staying actively involved in our family, church, and world.

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned that I am a child of God and loved by Him and that I am entitled to the Light of Christ in my life. I find peace through the teachings of the restored Church of Jesus Christ. My family is the center of my joy (and some frustrations) in life, and the gospel helps us keep everything in balance. I understand and agree that every man and woman has the God-given right to choose what he or she will believe and do, and this freedom is essential to God’s plan of happiness. Benjamin Franklin had this to say about choice: “We stand at the crossroads, each minute, each hour, each day, making choices. We choose the thoughts we allow ourselves to think, the passions we allow ourselves to feel, and the actions we allow ourselves to perform. Each choice is made in the context of whatever value system we’ve selected to govern our lives. In selecting that value system, we are, in a very real way, making the most important choice we will ever make.” I invite you to continue learning about the gospel and church of Jesus Christ and to make a choice…perhaps the most important choice you will ever make. Through the Holy Spirit, God will help you and teach you the truth that I have found and that brings my family and I so much happiness. That is why I’m a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I enjoy knowing that truth is eternal, and that character is determined by my thoughts, words and actions. Who I am is determined by what I do, even when no one is around. Truly honorable men are honorable 24/7. I choose to live up to that standard to the best of my abilities, with Jesus Christ as my example. I am not perfect and often fail. I quickly try to learn from the experiences and choose a better way the next time. In this I grow and improve. Repentance and faith in Christ makes this possible. Working and being self-reliant requires physical, mental, or spiritual effort. My family and I enjoy the value of working together. It is a basic source of happiness. Through work, and other Christian principles, we can accomplish many good things in our lives. We are better prepared to endure adversities and care for others in need. We love giving service. We regularly volunteer in our community of our time, talents, and resources to helping others. This also strengthens our love for God, and mankind. Our family strives to obey the Lord and emulate His characteristics. Daily effort is required. We try to show more kindness and love to all man. Life is not easy. Failures and challenges allow for growth. As a team, we will grow and learn and will succeed together as a family.
