Hi I'm Carla

I was placed in a Mormon home when I was adopted. I am so glad I am mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my sweetheart I met in college. We have 4 amazing children. I was a stay-at-home Mom for 22 years and went back to work as a Library clerk at our local elementary school 2 years ago.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't choose to be raised in a mormon family, but I always loved going to church and being involved as a child growing up. However, as a woman in my 20's I started to question it and wonder if this is truly what I wanted in my life. We moved to an area where the mormon church was not as prominent. I started to realize how much it meant to me and that I wanted to be mormon in every aspect of my life. As the years have gone by, I have only felt that stronger. I love the peace it brings into my life. I love that I have prayer, scriptures and words from a living prophet to turn to for answers.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to be very involved in my congregration. I am currently the president over the organization for women 18 years old and older. Every month I get to visit 3 or more other women to see how they are doing and discuss gospel principles. I also get to know them and their families and try to find ways to help them.
