Hi I'm Dale

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah and have lived in Peru, Mexico, Belgium, Los Angeles, Virginia and now Colorado. I love my family

About Me

My hobby is my family along with being the loves of my life. I have been blessed with a great wife, 6 boys, a wonderful daughter-in-law and soon a grandchild. We have lived all over the world, and we love traveling to see different places. By far, though, my favorite place to be is in the mountains. I find them to be refreshing and relaxing. I love doing many things with my boys, ranging from Rock Climbing to just hanging out and watching the World Cup or Top Gear (the British version). I love being with my wife doing anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon since it helps me to be a much better person and much happier. The Gospel of Jesus Christ gives me the framework of happiness that frees me from the temptations of this world that enslave so many people. I also love the emphasis on the family that the Gospel teaches. Thankfully, I know that the Temple covenants that I have entered into will bless me and my family in every aspect of our lives and allow us to be together forever with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Happiness and joy here on earth and living forever with God and my family. There isn't any greater blessing that I could want or ask for.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day in all that I say and do. While that is a challenge, it is very fulfilling. I have a lot of weaknesses to overcome, but the Gospel and the atonement help me every day. My calling is also very exciting since I get to meet many people in the Church and community. There are so many good people and so many people providing countless acts of service and kindness. It's refreshing and faith-building to see many people doing so much good. I also enjoy the warm friendship that I have with my two families that I home teach. I have grown to love them, and they always welcome my son and me into their homes. I also find the Gospel and the teachings of the Savior to be intellectually exciting and fulfilling. I enjoy studying Christ's life and His teachings in the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I feel the Spirit of the Lord very strongly and feel great instruction through the Holy Ghost when I read the Book of Mormon.
