Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an automobile technician for Lexus. I have a small family and we thouroughly enjoy spending time together. I love to take my family outdoors to go fishing or just hit a good 4wd trail in the truck. I also enjoy hunting and try to get out every year at least once. I sing with a premier singing group in the area where I live and love to sing whenever I get a chance, even in the car where the only audience is my wife and kids. Another thing we enjoy to do together is go to automobile racing events together. At times this has been a weekly tradition, depending on where we lived and what was available to watch.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was through learning about the church and it's teachings that I was truly converted. I did not have any miraculous experience that changed my life forever. It was the small and simple truths that I could not find anywhere else that kept me strong in my faith. I could not find any teachings in any other faith about what happens in temples. I could not find anything about the nature of God that made any sense anywhere else. I couldn't find any other religion that claimed to still receive revelation directly from God to his living Prophet. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he lives. I know that Joseph Smith, as a small boy, did indeed see and talk to God and his son Jesus Christ. I know that God's true church is here on the earth and that I am a part of it. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God today.

How I live my faith

My faith is a way of life, not just something I do part of the time. I live my faith in my work by being completely honest with every customer about what is going on with their vehicle and what they need to do to fix it. I keep my language clean in the work place and at home. I even avoid foul language when no one else is around. Don't get me wrong, I am not perfect. I just do the best I can to be a good example to those around me. I also donate my time and talents to sing with a premier mormon singing group in the area and enjoy sharing uplifting music with people from my community, whether they are mormon or not. I mostly enjoy being a husband and father. Those are my two most important roles in life. My eternal family will be my greatest reward for this life. No achievement in life is quite so rewarding.
