Hi I'm Chris

I grew up in Maine. I work in construction in Vail, Colorado and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing is my family. I love being married to a wonderful woman and being a dad to three tremendous children. I learn from my family each and every day as we are involved in each other's lives. It takes a lot of communication, commitment and love to grow a family. I love hiking and skiing in the wilderness of Colorado and get outside any chance I can to take advantage of it. I am part owner of a construction manangement company that specializes in interior remodeling and carpentry. I love baseball and soccer and gain joy watching and playing it too. I have been fortunate to coach my children for the last 10 years in soccer.

Why I am a Mormon

I decided to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints after gaining a testimony about families. My wife was a member of this great church and after we fell in love I started going to Church with her. I felt the spirit strongly at Church and one time when her Mom was very sick in the ICU I found myself at the head of the bed across from my wife's Dad and he asked me to put my hands on her head to give her a blessing along with him and the other Priesthood holders. I felt the spirit tingling in my hands and came home and got in touch with the missionaries. As I studied the gospel of Jesus Christ the one overarching feeling was that I wanted to be part of my families lives as they went to Church. I had wonderful friends that cared about me amd lovingly taught me how to serve others. I had a friend and got to serve and kept learning about the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have had an amazing opportunity to serve in the Church over the last 16 years. Each opportunity gave me a chance to learn about someone else and give of myself. The one important thing I have learned is that if you decide to open your life to others you will be busy and it is the most rewarding in the world. I am very fortunate to work closely with the Denver Temple in my responsibilty. Seeing people gain an understanding of the gospel and make eternal covenants is a sweet moment. I love living the gospel. I am the only member of the Church on my side of the family and I love showing my love for my Mom and Dad and brother in every possible way just as my loving brother and father in heaven show their love to me. I live my faith by being the best friend I can be to all I come in contact with every day. I live my religion every moment of every day.
