Hi I'm David

I'm 21 years old. I love soccer, math, and physics. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently going to college to get a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. I served a two year mission in Bahía Blanca, Argentina. I speak Spanish. I am very dedicated to my school work.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church. My parents have always taught me what is the right thing to do. One of the things they taught me is that I need to know for myself. So, one day when I was sixteen years old, I was challenged to ask God if He loved me. I wasn't the perfect kid and I didn't know what God thought of me. I knew He loved all of His children but I wasn't sure how he felt about the sinner. That night I knelt down to ask my Father in Heaven if He loved me. The instant I knelt down, I knew that He did. I didn't even have to say anything. I just felt it so strongly that I knew. Since then, I have come to know the Book of Mormon and the Bible is true through prayer and the same kind of feelings. I know it's true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to help others. Even though I am busy with school and other things in my life, I try to take time to help others with their person things. As a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, I have the privilege of serving in a position in the church. I'm not paid, I just do it because I love the Lord. We believe that as we serve others, we are serving God. I also have the opportunity to worship God twice a week as I go to church meetings every Sunday and I go to the temple once a week. I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon daily and try to find things to apply to my life.
