Hi I'm Mike

I'm a Mormon from a large family in southern Colorado raised in a rural setting.

About Me

I grew up the oldest of eight children. on a small farm in southern Colorado and spent most of my life farming and ranching. I have seven children and twenty three grandchildren. I now live in the city so I have had to make major adjustments to my lifestyle. I love fishing, hunting, bowling and spending time with my grandchildren. My wife accuses me of being a work-a-holic.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been active in the church. I enjoyed the association with other church members from an early age. I gained a testimony of the gospel in early morning seminary when I read the Book of Mormon. I never went on a mission but I have always enjoyed discussing the gospel with those whom I come in contact. Family is the most important thing in my life and it wouldn't have been the same without the church.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving others. I spend a lot of my time serving in the various callings of the church I currently travel to adjoining congregations to help with the needs of the church and as a liasion between Stake authorities and Ward leaders. I enjoy the association of those I am around. I try to be of service to my neighbors and acquaintances.
