Hi I'm Angie

I'm a single, professional woman with a PhD in mechanical engineering and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Not fitting a "typical" Mormon mold I am a single professional woman who happens to also have a doctorate in mechanical engineering. I love to travel the world and explore new cultures. I played college volleyball and enjoy many sporting activities. I'm heavily involved in community volunteering. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and always strive to be the favorite aunt!

Why I am a Mormon

Quite simply because its TRUE! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the most logical religion I know. At the same time, the Gospel speaks to my heart. God does hear and answer my (and your) prayers. I want to continually be progressing in life and know that I am a daughter of God - my religion strengthens this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I strive to be a good example by upholding the principles of the Gospel. In my family ward I am involved with organizing sporting activities. It is a great opportunity to get healthier and interact with both members and non-members alike.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Angie
We are just like everyone else for the most part! Sometimes we try to multi-task too much just like everyone else! We can be educated, athletic, funny, caring, single, etc. The difference may be in our eternal perspective. I believe, as other Mormon's believe, that we have divine potential with God given attributes such as nurturing and love which are different but not less or more than men's God given attributes. Knowing this potential makes us different and I think better off for it!. Show more Show less
