Hi I'm Peter

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was introduced to the Church in high school. At that point I had no idea what “Mormon” meant. I discovered, after meeting with missionaries, that God is really our Heavenly father, that family relationships can last beyond this life, and that challenges and difficulties in life really do have a purpose. It all came down to the importance of families and the focus our Heavenly Father puts on families.

Why I am a Mormon

I met some very good people as I investigated the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints, and I met some very good families, too. The examples of those terrific families prompted me to pursue this further, so that my future family could one day have those same blessings. Now, 30 year later, it really did work out that way—I have been blessed with a great wife and 3 terrific boys, and we have been tremendously blessed as a family in the Church!

How I live my faith

Again—family is central to everything. Each Monday night we have an activity we call Family Home Evening with all of us together. We try to focus our activities and things we do with family in mind. We try to read each morning from the Bible or Book of Mormon, and even our holidays have a family focus. We also believe in the importance of serving and helping others, and try our best to instil this focus in our children.
