Hi I'm Karl Klefsky

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I did Firefighting for almost 2 years (from age 17 to 19.) I am serving a mission for my Church right now, and will be right back into Firefighting when I get home. It was easy for me to make the choice to serve a mission when I was young, but as it came closer I wanted to back out of it because I would be leaving so much behind. But I knew that if I was able to serve that I needed to. Had I not been on my mission when my father passed away I would not have made it out on a mission. And I would not have been ready for it. The mission has helped me more then I can even begin to explain in words. My understanding of the next life has grown so much in so sort of time. The people I have met while on my mission have helped me so much in my time of need. The people I have served with have been a great support. But even more I have found a lot of support from reading the Scriptures, and lots of praying. My parents have always taught me to do what is right. Any mess ups I have made are my own faults. They have more then done their part in doing all they could to raise me the right way. My Mom is such a great example to me. She is right after Jesus Christ in my book. She is a very hard worker! Puts up with a lot of crap. (Yup, that's right Dad. I said the C word.) And my Mom is very loving! And my Dad has set the example of enduring to the end. Anyone who knows or knew him knows what I mean. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ! :)

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have tried a lot of different things and when it comes to happiness, nothing has come closer then fallowing Heavenly Father. I know He wants the best for all of us, even me. I have prayed to know what He would have me do. And being Mormon is it! If you really want to know where you stand, get down on your knees and ask God. He won't lie to you. I know that you will come to find the same answer as me if you put full trust in Him. Give it a shot, what do you have to lose? Give God a chance to lead you through this crazy thing we call life. He wants to help.

How I live my faith

It is a day by day choice. The question I ask myself is "Do I want today to be a good day?" And I know that by Choosing Gods way I will have a better day. :)

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Karl Klefsky
Yes!!!! The Bible is Gods word. As well as The Book Of Mormon. Its simplely more of Gods word. Don't you want to know more about Gods love for us? And what we can do better to get closer to him? The Book Of Mormon is for just that. Show more Show less
