Hi I'm Zoë

I'm a bass player and am studying to become a music educator. I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am a college student studying to become a music educator. I love music, all kinds. When I'm not practicing or performing, I love to find out more about the world around me. I love meeting new people and finding out what makes the world beautiful for them.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in this church, I have been blessed to always know that this gospel is true and that Joseph Smith restored Christ's church upon this earth. I never had a specific moment when this truth was revealed to me, more like a series of impressions throughout my life that verified what I already knew. I have seen this church change the lives of those around me, and more importantly this church, Christ's church, has changed who I am. I am a Mormon because I know, without a doubt, that this is the one true path to follow for Christ's disciples. I love my Savior. He is my best friend and I want to be just like Him. I will follow Him always. Though I may stumble and fall in this life, the great plan of happiness that has been restored to this earth has given me hope that I can prevail, that we all can prevail. I am a Mormon because with the knowledge it gives me I can watch the rising of the sun on each new day with hope for a bright future, and that hope is given to me by the sacrifice that our Savior made for each of us. My testimony that Christ lives and loves us is the most important thing I have in this life, and that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily through scripture study and prayer. The most important part of my day, and the part I look forward to the most, is when I can sit quietly and ponder the words our God has revealed to us. I love learning more about this gospel. Other than my daily prayer and scripture study, I am an active member of my LDS singles ward. I currently serve in a teaching position. As of a month and half ago I received a call to serve as a missionary for my church in the Dominican Republic. I leave in a few months and am ecstatic to serve my Savior and bring His beautiful gospel to others.
