Hi I'm Edna Alexis

I am the youngest of four. I am a Diesel Technician and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love service and I want a forever family. I am not a traditional Mormon nor do I act like one but I live the Gospel and love the word! Although I won't be serving a traditional full time mission, like my siblings did, I know I'm doing what the Lord wants. Everyone is unique there is no cookie cutter way to live.

Why I am a Mormon

Shortly after moving to Minnesota the missionaries started teaching my family and I. Although I slept through a good portion of the lessons I knew being baptized was the right thing to do. There was never a thought otherwise. The biggest reason why I continue to be a Mormon, a Member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints is because I never want to live without the Priesthood again in my life. I choose to marry a worth young man who can take me to the Temple, because I know if I do I WILL ALWAYS have the Lord and his power in and available to my family. I desire my children have the best I can offer and I know that the Gospel is the Best.

How I live my faith

It isn't always easy to be an example. To live what I stand for. At first it was one of the hardest things I have ever tried to do. But over time it became easy, second nature. I read my scriptures everyday. I am open to everyone about the things i do during the week, including church. But the best way I live my faith is by loving everyone around me.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Edna Alexis
When you think of a Stake compare it to a school district. Within the School district are schools. So within a Stake are Wards. If there are few members then it is called a Branch, similar to a REALLY small school. These areas help keep a records and help build a family within the church. Show more Show less
