Hi I'm Adrienne

I'm a mother of 2. I'm an Ultrasound Technologist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My parents were divorced when I was 4 years old. I grew up with my mom and step-dad as the oldest of 4 children. I now am married with 2 children of my own. I worked as a lifeguard during college and now I'm an Ultrasound Tech and am hoping to work part-time when my mat leave is over. I love to swim. I enjoy being outdoors. I enjoy exercising, but usually lack the motivation to start. I love to dance, and enjoy singing, acting, and playing the piano. I also enjoy reading, making crafts, and baking.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the church is true. When I pray about it, the Spirit testifies to me that it is true. I feel so peaceful. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know He suffered for my sins and that He died for me. I know He was resurrected. I know that Joseph Smith saw God, the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know he was a true prophet of God, and I know that President Monson is God's prophet on the earth today. I know the Book of Mormon is true. It brings me such peace during troubled times. It is a great strength to me. I am very grateful for it.

How I live my faith

I play the piano for my church congregation so that everyone can feel the Spirit through the music that I provide. Recently, I worked with the young women ages 14-15 years old. Those girls are such a good example to me. I loved teaching them and getting to know them. Hopefully I helped them and was an example to them.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

The scriptures have been such a blessing in my life. Recently, my son then only one week old was very sick and hospitalized. It was a very scary time for me. I didn't know how things would turn out and if there would be lifelong effects from his illness. The Book of Mormon was one of the key things that helped me get through that time. As I read the scriptures, the Holy Ghost brought such peace into my heart and I knew that God knew about me and my son. I knew that no matter what happened, God loved us. I knew that we will be together in the next life, and I knew that what I was reading was true. It has helped me find answers to the questions in my life and it has brought me closer to my Heavenly Father and more in tune with His Spirit. Show more Show less
