Hi I'm Carrie

I'm a Mormon. I was raised in Maine and now live in Arizona.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of four children and a grandmother of 2 grandsons (1 living and 1 passed away). My family is the most important thing to me. I am a junior high science teacher. I love to work on my family history and learn about the past and how it relates to me. I love to be outdoors and appreciate the wonderful world around us.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been raised in a Mormon home. However, every person has to find their own path and their own testimony. I choose to belong the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because of my own personal convictions and testimony. The principles of the gospel help me to understand who I am and my purpose here on this earth. My faith in God allows me to overcome heart-breaking trials and challenges. I am a better person, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, neighbor, and citizen when I strive to live as Jesus Christ has taught us. I know our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ love us and will provide the blessings we need.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. I try to be kind to others around me. I teach my children to be kind and to live by righteous principles. I volunteer in our community and within our church. I have learned to serve my ward family and love them through that service. I try to be helpful to my neighbors and seek for opportunities to serve them. I want to be an example and a servant of my Savior, by loving and serving others as He did.
