Hi I'm Stefani

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student trying to prepare for the rest of my life; as I enjoy every minute of the "now." I am majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Dance. I feel that the way I can contribute most to society is by teaching and inspiring children. I dance because it keeps me sane. Those of you who have taken dance class or even those of you who like me, wear slippery socks around the house so they can slip and dance around their kitchen, know that dance is therapeutic. I spent the last 3 months in Italy and now have a greater appreciation for the Italian culture and beautiful Italian people. I hope to one day see many more majestic and even not so majestic parts of the world. I want to one day be a diverse enough person to understand and really be able to empathize with anyone. I try to live my life on an everyday basis. I am a firm believer of "Carpe Diem." Sieze the Day my friends! Make it better than yesterday! And hope for an even better tomorrow.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have found that it is the only thing that is truly constant in my life. I know that no matter what I will find comfort and peace in this gospel. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and guides me on an everyday basis. I'm a Mormon because I know that this church has a current Latter-Day Prophet. I know that Thomas S. Monson instructs us what we need to do right now today. When I do something that I know i shouldn't have I know that through true repentance I can be forgiven because of Jesus Christ's sacrifices. That knowledge and the peace that comes from that knowledge is one way that we can begin each new day completely clean and guiltless. I'm a Mormon because I would be completely lost and hopeless without this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I am part of a college ward. I am part of a committee that checks up on the phyisical and emotional needs of other members of our ward and helps out those in need. My ward has become my family. There is such a sense of closeness and love for all ward members. I know that if I need something I can turn to just about anyone and they will be there for me. I would very willingly be there for any of them as well. It is an extra sense of friendship and family. From the time I was 12 years old I helped organize activities and teach the other kids I grew up with. I have done many can drives, clothing drives, and clean up jobs with my ward to help better the community and be more like our Savior, Jesus Christ.
