Hi I'm Meghan

I grew up in Texas. I have a twin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a twin sister and everyone in my family was adopted. I love my family, I love music and I love the Lord. I played the Bassoon for seven years, did percussion for two and conducted the band as a drum major for another two. I also really love to travel different places and see how the world is in different places. I have worked as a CNA for 2 years and love the elderly population. There is so much we can learn from them and they have incredible stories. I am currently going out to serve in the England, Birmingham mission for 18 months and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have felt the spirit confirm to me that everything this church teaches is true. I have repeatedly had experiences which have confirmed this knowledge. I know the Book of Mormon is true and is meant for our day. It is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know this book was translated by Joseph Smith. I've seen the Lord's hand directing my life and know that Heavenly Father cares about me as a daughter of God. I can feel the spirit in my life as I am making good decisions and am trying to do things the Savior would do and these experiences inspire me to push forward and remain faithful in all things. I have felt the power of the priesthood in my life and know that it is a power Heavenly Father has given to us to use for his purposes.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the little things each day. By praying to my Heavenly Father, reading my scriptures and striving to always remember the Savior. I try to look for experiences to serve others and do good things. I attend all my church meetings and strive to be attentive and learn things while I am there. I strive to fulfill my church callings and share with others the gospel of Jesus Christ. These things keep my faith strong and allow me to keep on moving forward.
