Hi I'm Ginelle

I'm a Mormon. :-)

About Me

I love reading, knitting, camping, fishing and being with family. I enjoy going to church every Sunday and Tuesday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because Heavenly Father brought me to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This Church has answered questions for me that no other Churches could answer. Where did I come from? Why am I here? Where am I going after? And many more questions. I am able to get closer to God and his Son (our Brother) Jesus Christ in being a Mormon. I have learned the steps to take daily to be with Him again someday. I know in my heart and with the Holy Spirit testifying to me through prayer & scripture study, that this is the true Church. I feel at home and peaceful when I attend every week. I love expressing to others how much I love going and being around heart-warming people that are like family to me. I love being Mormon and wouldn't change it for anything! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has taught me so much and made me a much happier person! I would be so happy to share my conversion story to anyone and invite you to come with me to Church. :-) "Let your light so shine before men" (Matthew 5:16)

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and renew my Covenants with God. I keep the Covenants I made with Him also. I read my scriptures and pray daily. I also like reading the Ensign magazine. I pay 10 percent tithing every time I receive any kind of income. I dress modestly and keep the Words of Wisdom. I know the gospel and that this Church is true. I am a Young Women's Secretary and leader in the Church. The Young Women are girls from age 12 to 17. At the end of the day on Sundays, we have the Young Women in class together along with myself and other leaders. On the week nights, we all meet for about an hour and a half to do activities. We also work on progressing to our Heavenly Father. The girls are amazing and so spiritual. I am very blessed to have the Gospel in my life!

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Ginelle
Through history, God chose prophets such as, Noah, Abraham, Moses and more to teach the gospel and direct His Church. I do believe that there is a Prophet on Earth today. He gives us advice and guides us in our lives. He helps us to make the right decisions and prepare for things today and in the future. I have had his help occur in my personal life. When my husband and I have struggled, the things he had us do to prepare helped us make it through that hardship. :) We all need God's guidance in a world that is confusing sometimes. So it helps to God's chosen prophet Thomas S. Monson to give us guidance. If you have more questions, just let me know. :) Show more Show less
