Hi I'm Beth McBride

I'm a Mormon. I'm a mother of 5 children, with families of their own. I have 13 grandchilren, and 4 great-grandchilren.

About Me

My name is Beth. As I mentioned earlier, I am a married mother of five grown children , who all now have families of their own. In total, I have 13 grandchilren, and 4 great-granchildren. I play both the paino and the organ, and enjoy most music. Anything classified as "rap" or "new-age" just isn't for me. I like to swim, water ski, fly, sew, knit, crochet, pain, and love taking care of my lil dog, "Freddie." I enjoy visiting museums, and frequent the musical theatre for live productions. We are at a point in our life where we have the opportunity to vacation often, and have been almost around the world. We love family gatherings, and look forward to holidays, as they seem to be the only time we have everyone all - together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am one of the individuals who is lucky enough to have been born into a family of Latter Day Saints. This foundation has shaped my life, and my decisions for my family. I have chosen to follow the gospel because I have a deep and abiding testimony of the truths that are taught. I know that Joseph Smith, truly is a prophet of God, and that it was through him that the fullness of the restored gospel is once again upon the earth. I enjoy attending all church services, as I see the blessings on a daily basis. I am grateful to belong to the church that has the true priesthood of God, and that has the only true and living Prophet as the head of our church today. My husband is a good, faithful man, who is blessed and lives his life worthy to hold the holy priesthood of our Lord. Through this priesthood he has been able to bless the members of our family, and many others.

How I live my faith

Over the years I have been asked to work in our church as a teacher for our young children, youth, and adults. I currenly am responsible for keeping in touch with the needs of several of our less active women. I have the privelege of keeping them posted on current church events, lessons, and letting them know that they are loved and missed. My husband and I were honored to serve a mission in Washinton, D.C., and temple workers. We were there for 20 months, and during that time, left our family and our home behind for this experience. It was the greatest blessing that we have been given to be able to serve every day in God's holy temple.
