Hi I'm Andy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I am a married father of six, three boys and three girls, who are all adults now, so my wife and I are empty nesters. We have ten grandchildren with two more on the way. My wife and I have been married for 38 years.

Why I am a Mormon

My family joined the Mormon Church when I was eight years old. I have been an active member ever since. I occasionally attended other churchs with friends as I grew up, but none had the feeling of reverence and the feeling of the Spirit of Christ that the Mormon Church has. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been a driving force in my life. And I am sure will continue to be till the day I leave this Earth. Where ever you are I recommend that you check out the church and see for yourself how the church can change your life.

How I live my faith

In the community I live in I am on the planning commision to help to determine the future of my town. In the church I am a Branch President which is the Ecclesiastical Leader of a small local congrgation.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Andy
All members of the Mormon church love the Bible, both Old and New Testaments. "We believe the Bible to be the word of God so far as it is translated correctly" (Articles of Faith). I have read the Bible from cover to cover and try to live by its teachings everyday as well as the teachings of the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less
