Hi I'm Andrea

I'm a wife and a mother. I grew up in Arizona. I love learning and teaching about music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Andrea. I'm a wife, mom of one, with one more on the way. We live in California. I love music and studied music education in college. Now I get to stay at home and play with my son all day. I love finding ways to save money for our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this is Christ's gospel and living it makes me happy. When I go to church and to the temple, I can feel my Heavenly Father's love confirming to me that this is His church. The doctrine of this gospel also makes so much sense to me. I went on a mission for the church, and while there had some powerful experiences confirming my faith. I know from those experiences that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore His church back to the earth. I also have felt how the temple can bind families together in an amazing way. While on my mission, I was at a conference and felt my grandmother there with me, who had passed away when I was young and was not a member of the LDS church. It was not until the next week that I received a letter from my mom telling me she had just been to the temple and had her parents sealed to her as an eternal family. That was a powerful experience for me. I love to watch General Conference, where we hear the prophet and apostles speak every 6 months, and feel the spirit of their words from God today. It is the first weekend of every April and October. I would encourage you to watch and see how those talk can apply to what you are going through. Heavenly Father knows each of us personally and can answer our prayers when we listen to His servants.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by volunteering in church in a couple different ways. I love how all of our positions are volunteer and we are able to experience different ones that help us learn and grow! Right now I am the choir director in my ward. I am also a Visiting Teacher, meaning I get to visit a couple sisters every month and share an uplifting message and see if I can help them in any way. It brings me joy to be able to serve my Heavenly Father!
