Hi I'm Jena

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying nursing and loving the college life! I enjoy EVERY sport. I grew up in Olympia, Washington where I played soccer, basketball and tennis in high school. I love reading, singing, cooking, horseback riding and going to the beach!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, my family have been members since the early years of the church. There hasn't really been one defining point in my life that I was truly converted. But I have had many experiences that have testified that this church is the true church. I have felt it in my heart. Not a day goes by that I don't have some realization of the love my Heavenly Father has for me and the numerous blessings of which he has bestowed. My family is everything to me and the fact that we are sealed together for time and all eternity motivates me to live my life in a way that that blessing can one day be realized. The gospel keeps me going in times of trial. I am so grateful for the gospel and modern day prophets that give me direction in these latter days. I love my Savior and know that he lives and he died for me so that I can become like him.

How I live my faith

I grew up in a city that wasn't highly populated with members of my same faith. It was hard to be the only one wearing a modest dress at a school dance or stay home on a Friday night because all my friends were at a party with alcohol. I tried to be an example to everyone around me. I shared the gospel with my friends and they began to respect me for who I was and what I believed.
