Hi I'm Mckay

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a mormon family that at that present time was not very active. Later after a separation of the family my father brought us back into the church and we grew so much. Another separtion, this time me. I left the family at a young age and left my beliefs along with my family. Years later (MANY YEARS). I was given the oppurtunity to visit the family I had left and were now from two completely different worlds. I felt the spirit in their homes, with their families, in their dealings with each other. And a tremendous amount of love that I had not known for a very long time. I remembered having that and I wanted it back. After my visit I changed. I was "converted". I came back. It was time to go back and my life has never been the same since. I was able (With the help of The Lord) to quit drinking, smoking and a vast amount of other bad habits. This is a very short version of my "about me". But I could not imagine where I would be with out the gospel in my life. It has brought me so much closer to my family and my Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

We are continually taught by our Savior to this day. The Book of Mormon is a collection of those latter day teachings. I firmly believe this and love it. I testify that we are taught still and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is His church. Formed by Him, Lead by Him, and taught by Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day to day by teaching my daughter as best I can how to live hers. It has been my pleasure to see her grow in her faith. I am a sunday school teacher for the children in my ward. Ok, well trying to be. I have the missionaries over frequently, sometimes to receive a message or lesson from them, if they have one. At times to just visit and share and enjoy a meal with them. I am always here to volunteer and help in my community and church as much as I possibly can.
