Hi I'm Robert

I'm a student, meteorologist and an athlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the state of Virginia. Now I am a college student studying to become a meteorologist in Virginia. I really enjoy being outdoors and relaxing. I have really enjoyed being on my own since starting school. The freedom has allowed me to grow and find what I really like in my life. One day I do hope to have a family and a job in meteorology.

Why I am a Mormon

Back in November of 2010, I had an accident. I was struck by a car while riding my bike home. I was able to walk away and I came to realize that someone was watching over me. A month later I get a phone call from a friend asking if it was alright if the missionaries could come to my apartment. I said yes. They gave me a Book of Mormon to read. I read it for a few months and with help from my friend I was able to understand it. I felt at peace in my soul. I was able to sleep better at night. I took the initiative and called the missionaries. I could not deny the feeling I was having. I made the decision to be baptized. I am first in my family to become a member. I have enjoyed my life even more. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that this church is true. Through my faith in Jesus Christ, I have felt better and have become a better person. I may make a mistake but the sacrifice that Jesus made has helped me overcome these mistakes. I am thankful for all that I have in my life. I don't look back at my past but I look forward to the future knowing that one day, every thing will alright. In Alma 36:3 "I do know that whosoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials, and their troubles, and their afflictions, and shall be lifted up at the last day." I know that it is true. I seen it in my life. I face challenges but I make it through them. I know that this all is true.

How I live my faith

I have really enjoyed being a part of my ward. I help the missionaries for our ward get around the area and help teach members and non members. It has been a real privilege to help missionaries and help others. I share the gospel over the social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter with scriptures and quotes.
