Hi I'm Christine

I am a wife and mother. I am a college graduate with a degee in elementary education and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, try new recipes (sometimes they fail!), get together with friends, and listen to good music, but my greatest joy in life comes from being a wife and a mother. I love spending time together as a family, whether it is traveling, working in the yard, cheering for each other at athletic events, or just sitting around the fireplace on a cold day. I am fortunate to be able to be home with my 4 kids full time. I love being with them! I am the lucky mom of a daughter with special needs. She has taught me so much about love, patience, acceptance, and how to overcome hard things. She fills our home with laughter and unites our family as we work together to help her reach her potential.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. My parents brought me to church every Sunday where I learned about God and Jesus Christ. I loved going to church as a child because it made me happy. As I got older, I wanted that joy and happiness to stay with me. I knew that if I followed the gospel of Jesus Christ, even when I was faced with hard choices, that I would have peace and joy in my life. I gained a sure knowledge that God lives and that Jesus Christ is my Savior. That knowledge is what drives my actions today. It makes me want to be a better person, a better wife, and a better mother. It keeps me focused on what is most important in life and helps me weather the trials that come along.

How I live my faith

I particiapte in my church by serving in public affairs. I help coordinate and organize events where leaders from our church can meet and interact with leaders in our community that are not of our faith. When I have the opportunity, I love to teach the children in our congregation. They are so full of enthusiasm!
