Hi I'm Luisen

I'm a mexican mormon, I'm a current student of international business and trade, I love languages.

About Me

I just came back from the mission, I served a mission in my own coutry, I'm a current student of an amazing career which is a degree in international business and trade, I like it because languages is what I love the most and having this communication and getting to know other cultures and people from different parts of the world, even that I'm stil studying I already work as an english teacher, I do really love teaching others what I've learned because I always says that by teaching what you learn you will never forget what you already know. I also learned how to speak portuguese because is the third most spoken language in the church after English and my first language spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I wasn't born as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I actually got baptized when I was 16 years old, a very difficult part of life when I was getting involved with a lot of things that are seen normal for most of the people that today I know those things were not good for my life. I really appreciate that a woman from the church gave our address to the missionaries to visit us, at the beginning just the rest of my family started to listen to the missionaries when I decided to stay watching T.V instead of being with them listening to the missionaries. I can confess now that while my family was with the missionaries in the living room, something was telling me that I should have been with them, a couple of times I obeyed that voice but just by going to the window in the kitchen where I could catch some of the words that the missionaries were speaking. With the time I sent my pride away and started to pay attention to the messengers of God. A few weeks later my family and I got baptized, we didn´t have that much knowledge by the time, but we just have the most important things Faith, repentence. Now I know that becoming a member of the church was one of the most important and sacred decision I've ever taken. I know God is our heavenly Father, He sent his son Jesus Christ because He loves us, Jesus is our savior, our redeemer, and I believe that by listening to the Spirit of God we can make good choises in our life and be in the right path.

How I live my faith

The way I live my faith is by being a good example to others and apply the principles I preach. Since I got baptized I've been very involved in the missionary work, by helping the missionaries visiting the people who are learning, by being a full time missionary. I understand that the missionary work is very important in our lives as members of the church, we need to share with others the plan of salvation, the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and make them know why we are very happy by living these principles. We also need to have a strong relation with our families, in my family we have a meeting every monday to share a short message of the gospel, sing and pray together. We love all the things we've learned because have brought happiness into our lives.
