Hi I'm David

I love being active biking, wakeboarding, snowboarding, organized sports, working out, etc. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

From an early age I was riding bikes, waterskiing, playing baseball, football, soccer, wrestling, and any other sport I could get involved with. I am now 26 years old and I still love participating in various sporting activities. I had the pleasure of marrying my wife in the San Diego temple for time and all eternity in 2007. I have recently graduated from college with a business degree and I have started my career as a financial advisor. I love the opportunity to help other people plan for their future and work towards achieving their financial goals.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church. My parents taught me about the gospel of Jesus Christ and helped me to build and nurture my faith in Jesus Christ. I did not have a miraculous event that lead me to know the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints is God's true church. My belief was built slowly over time or as the scripture in Isaiah say: "line upon line, here a little and there a little," (Isaiah 28:13). As I studied the scriptures, attended church, prayed for knowledge and understanding, served others, and lived the commandments I received a confirmation from my Heavenly Father that He loves me and that this is His church on the earth. I know this church has blessed my life and it can bless others as they strive to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to teach and serve a group of 11 year old boys. Each Tuesday night we get together to learn about a variety of topics from camping to safety while on the internet. I served a 2 year mission for my church in the United Kingdom. Looking back on the experience, it was hard, but one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I loved to help others come to know Jesus Christ and gain a belief in His gospel. When I returned home I promised myself and my Father in Heaven that I would always be a missionary. I continue to share the information about the church when the occasion arise.
