Hi I'm Cassie

I create stuff to put a smile on others faces. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied Early Childhood/Special Education in Idaho and graduated in 2010. I enjoy working with children and their families to help both succeed. I've been married since 2008. My husband and I long to be parents, and have struggled with infertility. Our experiences have strengthened our marriage and helped us to relate with others. It's amazing to me how many people struggle with this devastating experience.

Why I am a Mormon

My longing to become a parent can sometimes make going to work difficult. Spending the day with children at the daycare I work at often makes me long for children of my own. As my husband and I have turned to each other and Christ in this difficult time, it has strengthened my resolve to follow Christ's teachings. His gospel gives me the insights and the strength to get me through the day. So many of my friends and family are enjoying their own children and it would be so easy to find anger in my situation but through the Lord's teaching I am able to find happiness and peace with my situation. Each day I learn something new to help me get through another day without my own child. Because of the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I know that I will have the opportunity to have children of my own!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a cub scout leader in my area. My husband and I work with the Bears (9 year old boys) and help them fulfill and succeed in their scouting endeavors. I prepare and lead discussions with the boys and plan activities to help them meet requirements. I also go visit other women in my area and try to help them meet the demands of life. Getting to serve and help others makes me feel so much happier in life, it makes my troubles seem so small when I get to help others overcome their difficulties.
