Hi I'm Sil

I'm LDS = Mormon = follower of Jesus Christ

About Me

My name is Sil. I was born in a wonderful spring day in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I'm married to Joel and we have four children. We came to live to the United States 23 years ago. Due to the fact that my children are now grown and gone, I decided to go back to school and finish what I started years ago, which is to get a degree in Social work. Being in school and working a full-time job is not easy, but to get everything in life requires some sacrifice. It won't be easy, but it will be possible. I really want to try my best to accomplish this goal.

Why I am a Mormon

When the missionaries were teaching me the gospel in 2002, I could feel the love of my heavenly Father in a very unique and extraordinary way. Since that moment, I knew that the church was true and I got baptized. My life has being filled with true joy since that moment and I testify with all the strength of my heart that I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and my redeemer, and that He has restored his church in these latter days through the prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I attend to my church meetings every Sunday, and I have had the opportunity to teach the gospel the the sisters in my ward. I also participate in different service projects organized by the sisters to assist each other in times of needs.
