Hi I'm Alex

I'm a fan of living life to the fullest and loving like there's no tomorrow. I'm a convert. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 21 year old nursing student. Live. Laugh. Love. is my motto. I love to live. I love to laugh... and I love to love. I've been blessed with an amazing family. I'm driven. I'm random. I love the spontaneity that life offers. And I'm eternally grateful for the many blessings I've been given.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to have someone special come into my life who introduced me to the church. By his humble example, I recognized that this Gospel was truly something remarkable and had so much to offer. Although his example left an impression, it wasn't until later that I realized what this Gospel was about. Years later at the age of 19, I experienced my share of life's struggles, which led me to kneel down and pour my heart out to God. I found comfort in letting go and trusting in Him, and in return He directed me to the dusty Book of Mormon that I had set aside under my bed from years before. After taking it upon myself to learn more about the Gospel by reading the Book of Mormon, praying, going to church, and meeting with the missionaries, I made the best decision I've ever made and was baptized, making me the only member of my family. I'm a Mormon because I know without a doubt that this Gospel is true, and that it brings us happiness and peace that we can't find any other way. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has opened my eyes to the purpose of this life and has helped me recognize my own potential as a daughter of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to others of what this Gospel is about, and what it can bring to our lives. I am constantly striving day-by-day to be more Christlike. I live my faith by taking upon me the name of Jesus Christ and living my life the way He would have me to live.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

To know if this Gospel is true, three things are needed. 1. Action. You must act on the desire you have to know if this is true. Take it upon yourself to study the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Doing so brings you closer to God and puts you in a position to be more receptive to any answer that may come when you do the next step 2. Ask. Personally go to Heavenly Father and ask if what you are learning is true. Sincerely pray to Him and trust that He will provide an answer. 3. Listen. And not just with your ears. Pay close attention to the feelings you experience as you pray and as you talk about or read the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Follow your heart and know that the Spirit can testify to us that this is true by bringing us feelings of peace and happiness. Show more Show less
