Hi I'm Wayne

I'm a Mormon. I live in California love to stay active and enjoy life

About Me

I enjoy the outdoors I live in an area that is sunny most of the year so being outside is part of the lifestyle. I am a big Lakers fan I see 10 games a year with pretty good seats. I enjoy concerts also from old school R&B Gladys Knight, Anita Baker, Brian McKnight to Gospel music John P. Kee, Fred Hammond, Marvin Winans. I have one son that is grown now. I miss the times when he was a young boy because we had so much fun. He is a young man now finding his way and I am very proud of him. I am married to a wonderful mormon girl that is the light of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My feelings about the coming to the knowledge of the true church are feelings of joy and happiness. I am humbled and awed by the faithfulness of Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. The plan that put people and circumstances in my path has moved and guided me into His will for my life. The joy of the Saints that sends out a Spirit of love that makes you feel like you are at home. . . .even though you are strangers. Friends that gave of themselves as true missionaries to bring the joy and happiness of the Lord that they knew of to me. That was my feeling 5 years ago and I feel the same way today. I have felt nothing but love and joy from the church. The love of the lord truly gives a spirit of joy to your life. The hope of his salvation really is eternal.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the bishopric in my ward. I have felt the spirit of the Lord in many ways serving in this calling. When we visit others and show love to them the way Jesus showed love to those around him, it is very powerful. The scripture says that when you are in service to your fellowman you are in service to your God and that is how service makes you feel. It brings you closer to Heavenly Father. It is love that makes the difference, I have found that when I move from a position of love the spirit is there to lead and guide. My faith in Jesus Christ's love for me gives me strength to put myself aside and help to assist others weather it is my wife at home, my co-workers on my job, or my brother and sisters in and out of the gospel. I wish I was better at it but there is still time. lol
